South Island Clamours for a Taste

We were absolutely blown away by the response to our range at the two days of Food Service Trade Shows we attended in the South Island recently. It seems the South Island food service sector can’t get enough of our handcrafted patisseries!

Loaded up with a huge selection of cakes, tarts, slices, quiches and more, our enthusiastic sales team spent a week in the South Island attending two Food Service Trade Shows. Catering and hospitality trade visitors enjoyed tasting our beautiful selection at each event leaving the heaving display table as crumbs at the end of each day.

“We were really surprised that people didn’t realise we have such a big range and so much gluten free and vegan products,” says CEO, Greg Knight.

The snickers slice and quiches were the easy winners at each event with the team sending home orders for new and existing customers throughout their trip down south.

Greg continues, “Our biggest achievement is gaining a large new catering customer who has already ordered four hundred lemon citrus tarts because they were so impressed with it.”
