Who are we:

Florentines Patisserie is a large wholesale manufacturing and marketing company of premium frozen cakes and desserts for the food-service and retail sectors in New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands, Tahiti and Dubai. We also offer contract manufacturing and have full time Food Technologists on-site, ready to develop products to your specification and price point.

Florentines Patisserie was established in Tauranga over 10 years ago as a wholesale company supplying the local market with a large range of patisserie cakes, desserts and pastries. With customer demand and an appetite for growth, Florentines became a market leader in the foodservice market supplying quality frozen Patisserie cakes and desserts throughout New Zealand & Australia.

Florentines has established an enviable reputation for supplying quality products using traditional and natural ingredients at competitive prices to cafés, restaurants, hotels and caterers. Florentines has also spent considerable time and resources developing a modern factory with the technology to be able to supply contract products to the market and is expanding throughout Australasia and the Pacific. The manufacturing facility is HACCP approved and producing a large variety of products including contract lines for a number of international franchise companies. Florentines manufactures all products to the highest standards and then shock freezes them to ensure that the quality of their premium range of products remains consistent. Shock freezing also ensures that our products are delivered in good condition. Freezing extends the product life for up to twelve months and allows for better stock control as only the portions that are required need to be thawed thus reducing wastage. When thawed, our products are as good, if not better than most fresh products and have a flavour profile that we are proud to say is superior to many of our competitors.
